I’ve bought pieces for a new computer for about a year now. I didn’t have the cash to buy the system I wanted all at once, so I went little by little.

It took a few returns of the motherboard, and installing EVERYTHING 3 times since they kept sending me the wrong version of the motherboard that I needed to support my processor (BIOS version, not my fault), but it’s finally rockin’.

I’m running 64 Bit Windows 7 – Quad Core 2.5 GHz, 4 Gigs DDR3, NVidia 9800.  There are six fans in this bad boy, it will keep me running for quite some time.

I’m excited, my sister Dawn and husband Nathan are having their first child together! She just got her first peek at this new addition to the family. There was the scary moment where the doctor couldn’t find a heartbeat, but then it was found, and the little stinker actually waved at her (or so she says). It sounds like we have a comedian joining the family.

I guess my next challenge here is to get all of my old post over to this blog. Problem is, I’m not sure I know how to do that. Ponder……..
